Description
The A-DQ(ZN)2Y Multi Loose Tube Cable is a fully dielectric outdoor fiber optic cable designed for high-capacity networks that require reliable optical performance, lightweight construction and long-term environmental durability. Multiple gel-filled loose tubes, each containing up to twelve fibers, are SZ-stranded around a central dielectric strength element. This arrangement offers excellent micro-bending resistance and ensures stable transmission performance across a wide temperature range.
To support long pulling distances and duct installations, the cable incorporates aramid yarn strength members. These high-tensile yarns distribute pulling loads evenly along the cable, preventing stress from reaching the optical fibers and enabling safe, efficient installation in both backbone and access routes. Since the cable is fully dielectric, it is immune to electromagnetic interference.
The cable construction is protected by a polyethylene outer jacket that offers long-term UV resistance, abrasion protection and environmental shielding. This durable PE sheath ensures consistent performance in outdoor conditions including underground ducts, rural deployment routes, utility corridors and industrial campus environments. The jacket provides reliable protection against weather, soil contact and mechanical wear.
The multi loose tube design provides flexible fiber management and supports high fiber counts, making the cable ideal for backbone networks, distribution lines and rural broadband rollouts. The gel-filled tubes ensure full longitudinal water blocking, protecting the fibers from humidity and groundwater exposure in challenging outdoor environments.
Manufactured in accordance with IEC and ITU-T standards, the A-DQ(ZN)2Y Multi Loose Tube Cable offers dependable performance, strong mechanical stability and long service life for a wide range of outdoor fiber optic installations.
