The A-DQ(BN)2Y(SR)2Y Multi Loose Tube Cable is a high-performance armored fiber optic cable designed for outdoor environments requiring high fiber capacity, strong mechanical protection, and long-term reliability. Multiple gel-filled loose tubes, each accommodating up to twelve fibers, are stranded around a central dielectric strength element to create a stable cable core with excellent micro-bending resistance and dependable optical transmission across wide temperature ranges.
For enhanced durability, the cable features a double polyethylene jacket system. The inner PE jacket encloses and stabilizes the stranded core, providing moisture protection and maintaining dimensional integrity. Surrounding this inner sheath is a steel armor layer (SR) that delivers high crush resistance, rodent protection, and impact shielding — making the cable ideal for direct burial, rugged terrain, and industrial installations. A UV-resistant outer PE jacket encases the steel armor, offering additional protection against environmental exposure, abrasion, and soil chemicals.
